Final 2 Contrasting Photos
After considering my options I have come to the conclusion of selecting these two photos as my finals. What I love about these 2 is that even though the lighting and framing are near the same, I really love how the vibe of the photos are changed by simply capture both the front and back of the subject. I am pleased that these two images clearly represent my 'American Psycho' theme/model as I feel it accurately depicts the manifestation of violence in a seemingly innocent subject. What I tried to do with the front-on image was depict an individual that seems good and innocent but also shows a glimpse at what he really is. I achieved this by placing a subtle red light on the side of the face to show that there is a darker and more evil side to this character that hasn't been revealed. Finally the image to contrast was to reveal the true intention and evil within the character as the bloody knife is evident. Overall I am very happy with the outcome of my final photos and feel confident to present them.
Studio Shoot #3
For My 3rd and final shoot I wanted to get a range of images to sample my 2 final images for the assessment, My inspiration for this series of images revolved around the movie 'American Psycho' as it is one of my favourite films and has a whole lot of material to draw from.
